Henny Penny Celebrates Opening of Onsite Health Clinic

EATON, Ohio (Sept. 11) Henny Penny Corporation today announced the opening of Henny Penny Cares Clinic, a newly constructed medical clinic offering onsite healthcare for its employee owners. The clinic is part of a companywide well-being initiative designed to offer employee owners programs and resources to holistically support employee owners’ mental, physical, financial and social well-being.
“Henny Penny is an employee owned company with a People First philosophy, and we are committed to taking great care of each other, our customers, and our community,” said Rob Connelly, Chairman and CEO of Henny Penny. “We are on a journey to be a thriving company that is the best place to work and grow. By providing convenient access to quality healthcare services onsite, we will be connecting employee owners to the types of services and support they need to manage their health and well-being.”
Starting Monday, September 21, all 800+ Henny Penny employee owners can receive care at the clinic, which will provide preventive care services, as well as treatment for episodic and chronic health conditions, on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Preventive care services such as wellness screenings, annual physicals and related lab work are provided at no cost to employees. The clinic includes an onsite lab for general diagnostic testing. Employee owners can be seen by appointments or drop in during clinic operating hours. Phone consultations are available to employee owners who work remotely.
Henny Penny partnered with Kettering Health Network, a not-for-profit network of nine hospitals, Kettering College, and over 200 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio, to provide the clinic’s digital health platform and physician services. Kristi Dees, FNP-C will provide health services at the Cares Clinic, bringing 16 years of experience in the medical field as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner.

The Henny Penny Cares Clinic has two exam rooms, lab room, and a waiting area. The onsite clinic is one of several Henny Penny company initiatives that promote a healthy, engaged workforce and support the company’s emphasis on well-being as a critical component of employee attraction, engagement, and job satisfaction. Meet Our New Chef: CEC Gregg Brickman

We are thrilled to introduce Corporate Executive Chef Gregg Brickman, one of our newest Customer Experience team members. In his role as CEC, Chef Gregg will provide a range of culinary support and expertise to our partners, from product testing to program development and everything in between. He will also offer equipment training to our domestic and international distributors.
